Default Electrical Issues

Hello all,
After a few months of trouble free driving another small issue popped up tonight while taking a short cruise. When I turn the headlight switch to the left (for the parking lights) the horn sounds. First time that has happened, so where should I first look, the wire going through the steering column or the light switch body. I light switch body is new but I have never taken the horn button off to check the condition in there?
Thanks

At the bottom of the steering column remove the light switch and see if the center horn contactis touching or nearly touching one of the light contacts. Look for a stray strand of wire, etc.
