Looks like lincoln29 got a nice surprise on ebay.His grille went for $1900.His reserve was less than$500.

I find this world to be full of nasty,evil, irratating,irrational people, but I thought this site might be differant...guess not...that guy did nor said anything wrong, and I have found many a good,hard to find parts at a reasonabe price on that evil e-bay..

Sometimes if you want something, you just have to hunker down and pay for it. I and many others have sold parts at cost or practically given them to somebody we knew who needs it and will put it on their car. On a rare part like that, he has the right to sell it on epay imho, but if the buyer was somebody he knew, they should work out a deal together on it. I have paid too much for parts I really wanted too.

He had it listed as "local pick up only...no shipping" Imagine what he'd have gotten for it if he'd been willing to box it up. Maybe he could have doubled his money!
