My Dad got one of the 46's with full 2X8 wood bumpers. Also none of the exterior chrome or stainless was on the body. Couple of month later it all came in and the dealer installed it. It was a 46 Deluxe 2 door. We kept the car for 10 or 12 years and I learned to drive in that 46. Tom...

Our across the street neighbor got a new 46 Ford 4 door, 6 cyl and it came with wooden bumpers. I will never forget that car, it was light gray and the man had a very unusual name,"Red Cross"!!!!
