BIG thanks to the Oklahoma group at Loveland
All you have to do is raise you hood. If any A folks are in the area an instant group is surrounding your car asking what the problem is and if they can help. Our hobby is amazing.
Between the car in front of the Hotel lobby and the registration desk I lost my one and only key. We even searched the bushes along the walkway. NO KEY. Out come the all the keys in their pockets. A key was found that fit the tool box on one of their cars and my ignition so one problem solved. Strange since my Popout was an original. Problem 2: I was having intermittent starting problems. Sometimes it would start right up an other times not. After a bit of investigating, testing and research a loose wire was found on the coil. Problem solved! Rocking from stepping on the running board must have caused the wire to make or break the connection. Once it started it ran great. One would think the wire would open and the car would stop with the bumps in the road. Solving the problem is one thing. For me always understanding it is another. Thanks again guys! |
