Default 40 ford fender brace

I'm ready to install the front fender brace on my 40 coupe. My question is how the bottom center mounts to the front crossmember. Is it just a bolt, washer, nut or is there a spring on the bolt like the radiator mount.

Thanks, Tony

I think this is correct but i also remember a piece of gasket or thick material that mounts on the cross member below the spring.....

You are correct about the material. It is a square of duck cloth that goes between the brace and frame.
