Unknown inside door handle
I got this door handle with some model A parts a while back. I don't believe it is a model A handle. It looks like an original part and I think it could be restored. Can anyone identify what it fits (Ford???)? Maybe I should also post it on the early V8 board. I am pasting in three picture of it below.

Re: Unknown inside door handle
That looks like the handle that fits the 30-31 cabriolet, slant window sedans, and victoria.

Re: Unknown inside door handle
Thanks to those that responded. It looks like it may fit 3 different cars! I will probably just toss it, but I was hoping someone could use it as it looks like it could be restored.

Tom,
That would be great to save it, but trying to find a person that could use it will probably never happen. Do you want it? Rusty |

Re: Unknown inside door handle
Hey Rusty please don't talk trash. That's a nice looking original old part...it's on a journey and needs you to help it along,
don't step on it like a bug. ...options that come to mind in no particular order. 1) ID it and put on ebay. 2) or Craigslist 3) start a swap meet collection. 4) donate it to someone at a swap meet...or drop off at a local second hand store. An antique store would sell this under their counter for 5 or 8 bucks. 5) make it a unique handle on something in your shop...or for a water faucet. 6) screw it on the wall for a stylin coathook! 7) give it to a youngster you meet in your travels...maybe it'll spark an interest towards a lifelong love of antique cars, you never know. 8) find all the other missing parts |

Re: Unknown inside door handle
If it fits on a shaft its worth keeping. The window crank handle on my coupe is broke, came that way when I got the car. Right now I have a handle from either a early 50's Plymouth or a Willys on it and it fits and works better then the broken handle until I replace it.

Re: Unknown inside door handle
No worries, Dan Partain has a friend that has a Plymouth that he thinks it might fit, so off to CA for the handle. Hope it fits on his friends car.

Re: Unknown inside door handle
Thanks for the donation Rusty! It's going to an original '34 Plymouth coupe.
