Default 1939 3/4 ton flathead

Trying to figure out what this engine is. Truck has 85 badges on side. Removed heads has triangle round triangle water holes. Is this a mercury block? On passenger side of block it has BBMC20247 stamped.

Round hole instead of keystone shape in the center is a good indication of the early 239 blocks. Mercury and trucks both used them. Someone may have changed an 85 out for a 95 at some time.

I have a strong feeling this is the original engine. But with many years past who knows for sure

It should be 3 3/4 stroke. Does it have 99T on the heads?
