WooHoo!! Side glass is in!
I'm stoked. After fiddling around with window cranks, channels, and fuzzy stuff for the last few weekends, I finally have nice tinted windows in my 36. Check it out....
[IMG][/IMG] Big thanks to those on the list that pointed me in the right direction with measurements. Also to Dick Spadaro. What great service! I managed to buy (2) NOS passenger window channels. Drilled out the rivets, cranked up the welder and made a nice driver side channel. Blasted 'em, painted 'em, and installed them. They work great! Now its on to the running board covers. I have questions about that I'll put in another thread. Heard

Looks good... an unpleasant fiddly job, but great satisfaction when in and all the swearing is over ( my experience).

Re: WooHoo!! Side glass is in!
Thanks! Yes. I have two of those roll up doors. When I built the shop, I put a 12' ceiling in anticipating I would 'need' a lift. I didn't want doors to get in the way of that.

Re: WooHoo!! Side glass is in!
It's easy to blow off the door glass, for one of the last projects., but is very nice to have the new glass and channels in place.
Your coupe looks very nice.

I like the "No Girls Allowed" sign on the shelf.
