Does any particular company sell better quality running boards than others? I need to replace a set and am looking for the best quality I can find.

If I remember correctly Roolieb (http://www.rootlieb.com/running-boards.html) was making a limited run of a very high quality 1930-31 running board (as Brent said you forgot to include your year). How high of quality do you want?

Rootlieb actually has the original dies for the running boards, they are very correctly done.

Rootlieb makes a great 31 board but to johns post
At least the steel is not from an original die; very distinct differences
As to the pyramid rubber I doubt that is from original mould as it would not work on the non-original steel. Unless all of this changes in the new run that I have not seen yet
One of the best repo parts out there all in all

I bought new rottlieb boards for my 31. Perfect look and fit.

The outside lip on the 28-9 should have an offset to match the trim. As far as I know, Rootlieb is the only one that has it.
