'40 Hood Hinges?
I've been buying all the '39-'40 hinges I find at swaps. Still have only found one set that seems to fit at all well and most of the others are total crap. They may be older repops or is it just what is out there? Are the big vendors still selling these sorry specimens or have thing gotten better? Need one more good set for my Business Coupe. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks: Fred A

Re: '40 Hood Hinges?
I too bought a pair of Drakes after purchasing a useless pair from another popular vendor. They worked just fine. I bought the stainless set.

Re: '40 Hood Hinges?
I tried a chrome aftermarket set and they didn't work. Cleaned up the originals and they worked fine.
