Default hub puller 40 ford near minneapolis

Just throwing this out there...

Wondering if anyone in the coon rapids MN area has a hub puller for the hubs on a 40 rear end I could possibly borrow. I'm in the process of getting my 37 going and the rear that was in it was shot. I picked up a 40 rear end I am planning on rebuilding but I cannot get the hubs off. I was using a torch and three jaw puller and it won't break free.

I know you can buy them for 150 or so but If I could I would rather borrow one as funds are tight. I could give you some cash if you would like. If anyone is able to help out that would be great. Just getting into this old stuff and I don't seem to have connections like a lot of people do haha.

Thanks for your help.

If you don't find one locally we have the KRW puller available for rent. It's $25 for a two week rental plus the UPS.

I used a puller from Harbor Freight per "37Fordpickup" here on the barn. I had to widen the jaw a bit to get it over the hub stub and angled my cut a bit so it wouldn't drop all the way through. Works GREAT and cost less than $20. If it breaks I can buy a few more and still be ahead of the high priced tools available.
"Listed as part no. 66868 for $16.99. For the price it is worth trying. My hubs came off with a just a little effort."
A couple of taps with a hammer under tension and the hub popped right off for me as well.
