40 pickup
Is there a difference between the hood release handles for a 40 pickup O1C-8215 and a 40 standard O1A-8215A ?

Definitely different. One is longer than the other. The O1C is approx. 7" long.

The 1940 pickup hood is different than the 1940 standard car, which accounts for the needed extra length of the pickup hood release.

They are hard to find and have been out of stock seemingly forever. The longer handle seems to be easier to break, thus reducing their supply.
