Default How about restoring your first car?

Here's a great story of a man's 34 Ford that was buried in the city dump for over 50 years right here in Utah: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=353...&s_cid=queue-1

Old cars were used as erosion barriers along turns in rivers and high banks where I grew up in Mt. I pulled a near perfect '27 T coup body out when I was in high school.

Great story, it's hard to believe that it's the same car.

That is not a restoration, it is a resurrection, (with modifications). LOL

I thought it looked pretty good for being at the bottom of a dump for half a century.

I agree with Green50, a great story, and it is hard to believe that it's the same car.

Mr. Coopman,

I usually get the thinly veiled political comments that you post, but I can't figure out what you are saying here. Could you please explain what you are trying to communicate here?

A bit over my head. Gruber is an economist. I think had some role in the Affordable Care Act.

What do I know, and of course...... MY opinion ONLY, but as several others seem to be quite excited about the outcome of this tale, I'm having a very hard time realistically believing the majority of this story. DD

I'm going out in the garage to tinker with my 1933 ford Model A.
