I still think if you are buying a car for an investment an original body is the only way to go. No matter how many patch panels chopped channeled etc it is still original and only so many are left. New bodies are new bodies and they can make as many as they can sell.

I have seen original cars that were channeled and people have a hard time selling them they are no longer the rage they were in the 50's they are just more things rodders tore up.

I have a original 32 that was in one family 40+yrs and missed the hot rod era. Thank goodness, I traded two restored cars and one restored Cushman Eagle for it and love. So I have a lot invested in the car but I love it.
