Draft tube block off plate?

I have a 56 Victoria that I just rebuilt the 292 and want to ditch the draft tube and go PCV.WHERE CaN I GET A BLOCK OFF PLATE? Thanks

I did the same thing and got the block off plate and everything needed for the PCV conversion from CASCO. classictbird.com.
You also need to get a valley pan with a hole for the PCV valve grommet or drill a hole in a valve cover for it.

Is the draft tube right behind the fuel pump? If so I was wondering what that block off plate was for on my 56 T-Bird 312. If this is correct a block off plate from a Thunderbird will work.

Just make one, using the gasket as a template. 3/16 or 1/4 inch aluminum or 3/16 steel.

On our '60 292, I eliminated the road draft tube and installed a PCV there.

Whether in the valley pan or the valve cover you need a baffle or a baffled grommet to avoid picking up oil. Been there done that, blew a head gasket twice to prove it (it was a blower motor at high rpm on the dyno). Link to the current discussion on yblocksforever.

Any standard Ford or Chev fuel pump block off plate with its gasket can be used. Apply sealer to the bolt threads, and make sure the bolts are not too long.

Yes, Thunderbirds had the draft tube in the rear off of the back of the valley pan, so they used a cover plate on the front hole from the factory. There is a Ford part number for the plate, but can be easily fabricated, or buy one from CASCO.
