The guy is a magnet for Ford and racecar stuff...if you listen carefully, you can hear a slight scuffling noise as every bit of Ford iron in Pennsylvania crawls toward his barn.
I thought I had cleaned out eastern PA...hah!

Zach, Is it possible to get you to send me the pictures you have taken of the interior of the delivery? I am building a 37, and want to make sure it is the original design. [email protected]

Funny, when I was a kid, those milk trucks looked a hell of a lot bigger.

and I found a few odds and ends including a nice Sun Dsitributor machine

I found a total of 6 '38 Lincoln caps...
Since the tires were going flat... i bolted on some wheels with old 6.50 whitewalls, trim rings and the lincoln caps

sort of looks like a farmer going to the ball.... a bit inappropriate to have whitewalls on a work vehicle...

Should be purchasing a set of nice new 6.50 blackwalls soon from a friend..
Lincoln caps may stay though!

Man, this really looks great. I know he changed it to black walls and stock wheels but this look works for me. Wow. What an awesome vehicle. The stock wheels are also attractive.

Just found and read this whole thread. Pretty damn cool Zach!
For the record, I like the blackwalls best. The entire delivery is really cool!

Zach, I need a picture of the rear door seal, an end shot woould help, I have no ideal what is supposed to be there. If yours is shot, I would pay for a small snipit of the end to see if we (I) could get steel rubber to make us some. No one seems to make it . thanks Pat

I'd like to enquire about the '38 LZ hubcaps, are you willing to sell them, if so, would you be willing to brake up the set and let two go? Please PM me or send me an email at: [email protected] if you would like to sell them. Thanks, Vic

Sorry Vic... I'd like to hang on to them for now... Found 6 of them at Hershey this year... 4 and then 2... 1 is rough... figure I need 5 if I ever run them on anything with a spare..

I'm not much for selling things but I will keep you in mind if I find any more...

Zach, I understand and appreciate that. I just need two for the front wheels on our '39 CS as the skirts hide the rear caps. I've not had your luck when it comes to finding '38 LZ hubcaps... Please let me know if you score any more. Thanks, Vic

Vic, a friend of mine has 2 full sets... I tried to buy one set right before Hershey.... but he wouldn't budge... then luck was on my side at Hershey, I guess... None of mine are really nice...

Good luck on your search
Zach

No major updates.... too much else going on right now remodeling my house...
I did start carefully removing all the interior panels and discovered quite a mouse nest...

Also lettered up one side of it....

And out comes the engine and transmission...

Looks pretty decent.... hopefully nothing major wrong...
Hoping to redo the brakes and drop a 59AB in for the time being.... try to make this sucker run and drive.... then clean up the original stuff and go over it before putting it back in....
Transmission looks very good inside! So may just clean the outside a bit and put it right back in...
