Smile 32 upi pickup fenders

I ordered a new pair of upi fenders via Speedway Motors om 12/31 & received them on 1/14. What awesome fit & finish, well packaged & an excellent value. Special pricing on most upi items & free shipping noted on select items as well.

Be certain to compare pricing on upi parts some vendors offer seasonal prices from 5% to 20% discounts ,however Speedway has the best pricing on a limited line for the moment with free shipping on select items over $99. This is an online sale..... once on the Speedway Motors site type in united pacific & a full list will appear. Really awesome pieces, it can be done correctly with exact fit & finish, I have used the sub rails, cross rails, below truck pan etc. with zero issues.

We picked up a dealership from them a few years ago, I would have to say that i have been very happy with all the parts from them. They are accurate, and fit well with the original parts.
I would give your local dealer a call first, A lot of the dealers are willing to work with the builders and can offer some good deals. Or they might have the parts taking up some room on the shelf that they are willing to let go for a reasonable price.

Hey Kiwi.......I won't speculate as to where their parts are actually made, and realistically it shouldn't matter (quality-wise) as long as their stuff actually fits well, and works like a paying customer would ultimately expect. It may be interesting to read some of UPI's history, as well as their approach to the designing and engineering of their stuff in the first place. It sounds like they're using today's technology potential and procedures to the fullest, with the end result seemingly being nothing but well-satisfied customers from every review that I have read. Take a moment or two to read their "about us" blurb on their web site at the link below. UPI's approach is proving that reproduction parts can MOST-certainly be made to fit properly. DD

I have used their deuce 5 window sills, cross braces and floor, plus the rear below deck panel, top and door post wood and some interior braces bringing my channeled 5 window back to life and everything worked great. Only part that was a little sketchy was the windshield frame but we got it to work after some massaging. I'm sure their parts are made overseas but if they fit I don't care. At least they took the time to make them right.

I understand that their steel parts are made in Taiwan, a democracy, which of course is not the same as communist mainland China (for those where such distinctions matter). I also understand that their wood parts are made in the U.S.A..

I have used several parts from them, most recently when I converted my "in process" 32 5-window from a rumble to a trunk and used their trunk pan. Nice fit, well made, and all the holes correctly done ..

United Pacific has a video on their web site with a start to finish assembly of the 5w body with the exception of exterior panel welding, a rather complex jig support/alignment fixture is used for exacting fitment. I found it rather amusing to see the crew depart momentarily to check the fit on an original body in the background, sometimes there is no substituting the real McCoy...

Mark, I'm glad you asked first, cuz I also had no clue whatsoever what or who "upi" was and didn't want to sound like a dummy .

But apparently it should have been "upii" for United Pacific Industries, Inc.
