Default Felt soooo good !

WOW, finally woke up the 40 and drove it just a short ways (no insurance as yet) Only one thing I can think of that might feel better ! Came back to the house and gave it a nice little wash job and in the mean time , agent called and said your covered , go for it. How sweeeeeeet it is.

I know what you are saying Bob! Day before yesterday I fired up the `35 Ford and the `37 Chevy for the first time since late last fall. Love to hear the sound of them coming to life especially with each having dual Smithy's! The crackling of the exhaust is sweet music!

Been building my truck all winter long and hope to have it on the road May first. Still have alittle snow.

Wiped down the 55 this afternoon. Took the bride to Subway for a sandwich then to the ice cream store next door for desert. 69 and sunny, oh yes, it is nice. That was a long cold winter even here in the mid south.

Wash with water?? I never use water on these old cars due to rusting, I use a waterless wash Prowler and it works very well. Gary

Gary, do you ever drive your car in the rain by chance ? I don't wash this one all the time, It has a good wax job and I usually just run over it with a California duster. We don't have the greatest water (private wells with iron content) even though I have a water treatment system, so I always wipe it down good to eliminate white streaking. Stay dry my friend
