Default what about this"

I have my A running great. except thr gav when I turn it 1/4 turn it starts to turn by it self and keeps on turning tell it get where it want to be. and then it is not running good how do I stop this? I have to hold it in a 1/4 turn and that is hard to do and change gears. thanks son of 19

Maybe put a larger grommet or something around the choke rod to keep from vibrating open.

There is a spring clip around the end of the GAV housing. When the needle is screwed into the housing, the spring clip keeps tension on the needle to prevent it from turning. Your's might be missing or loose, you might be able to take it off, compress it a little and reinstall. There should be some tension on the needle. Make sure the housing is tight in the carb as well.
