Default Bed strip hole layout

I am building a custom long bed for my 1953 chevy 3600 but I would like to use the bed strips that are already prepunched. Can some one give me the measurements of where the hole are in the prepunched strips from the front to the rear of the bed. By looking at pictures I think there are seven holes, maybe? I need this information to determine where to put my cross members. This is a long bed that I am building.

That's a long shot asking for Chevy bed dimensions on FordBarn, but I guess stranger things have happened!
I was very happy with the custom pre-punched strips I ordered for my '37 bed (didn't have wood beds in '37 Fords)

I built a custom bed and drilled my own holes. I used the press in bed strip bolts. However the only concern with the strip bolts will be if one of them happens to line up with a cross brace, which if you are building from scratch you can place wherever you want them. The strip bolts simply go through the strip, between the bed boards and then are held in place by a large washer, lock washer and nut.
I would suggest that you put a grove in your bed board edges for the lip of the strip to set down into. I believe I got my undrilled strips from Mac's and they came with a diagram for the groves. Sam supplier for the bolts, which also came with instructions for drilling the proper size holes for the knurled bolts to be gently tapped in to.

OOPs! Even easier, order the strips and after they arrive put in your cross braces.
