Default Old ford truck signage!

I'm looking for ideas for period looking signs/decals for a 40,s pickup. I run an electrical contracting business. Any old pics or links would be really helpful
Thanks
Ian

There used to be an electrical contractor in my area who had a sign on his truck that said, "call us to remove your shorts" ! I thought it was pretty neat.

Decals for vehicle signage is a modern invention, within the last twenty plus years. All of the "old time " vehicle signage was hand done by sign painters.
Don't have a handy pix of a Ford truck with signage, best I can do is a couple of pix of my dad's '39 &'40 Chevy's which were taken in 1939 & 40.

A suggestion: When you decide on a logo, take it to a sign shop that does magnetic signs and price their product. I had a couple different signs made for the Tonner that can be interchanged depending on the event and the statement I want to make. Magnetic signage also gives you the option if you want to show the truck without a sign.
