from Skip Haney, the coil guy, here in Fl. Thats
been about 6 yrs. ago and they are still
going fine, no problems and I could tell a
differance right away, they move more water.

I got Speedways, I liked them and... after maybe one year one side was spitting a tiny bit of coolant... So, I called, was told that I was outside the guarrantee period- but send the offender back... And they GAVE me a new pump to replace it anyway... Pretty good service, eh?

Get your originals redone by skip. I bought others and shipped them back because of misalignement of the mounting holes(India). Walt Dupont will back that up, he rebuilt my 59AB. We sent my originals to skip, better than new

Skip Haney gets my vote for water pumps. I don't care how many off shore brands become available. I have a set on my '35 a set of '37-48 for my 59ab and will be getting two more sets of '35's done soon. Quality work done in the USA. JMO

good thing about Skips pumps other than supporiting a small business man in thr USA is the fact that there is probably no better pump on the market than original pumps improved by Skip. The other thing is he will not tell you that they are out of Warrentee if one should fail. JMO.

I found a rebuilt left hand 8RT pump in a old parts store last week, ford script marked on the housing, wish I could find the matching right side. Anyone know about the Carter made pumps, being sold on ebay? Guy has right and left sides, $75.00 plus shipping, he says they are new, not rebuilt. ebay #320677835759.

I lucked out and found a mathing set with 8RT and Ford script at a swap meet. They also have the 8RT matched pulleys as well.

It can't be said enough, Skip Haney's pumps are great. Never tried the others.

I have Speedways on my current engine, Bob Drake pumps seem to be the nicest of the newer ones. However, next time I will be sending a pair of real FORD cores to Skip.

Thjey will fit because they already have, they work great, they have been built or should say rebuilt by an American,English speaking person that you can converse with if a problem should show up.
