Default Pressurized Cooling System

I would appreciate hearing from those running a pressurized cooling system. Is coolant leakage at the water pump a problem?
What is the operating pressure?
Do you have a coolant expansion and recovery contaioners?

I run a pressurized radiator. It's been this way for 3 or 4 years and never had a water pump leak problem. I run a 4 lb cap. Just enough to get it to and from the recovery bottle. I also have a modern VT fin core.

You don't need a pressurized system to use a recovery bottle, but why do you want either?

I run a 4lb cap and recovery bottle ,B W radiator with shroud . No leaks at pump or anywhere else . With this set up you can fill the radiator to about 2 in below the rad. cap therefore utilizing the full capacity of the radiator. Car runs 5 degrees cooler.
