Default Headliner vs. Roof Fabric

I need an opinion. I am at the point that I am ready to re-do the roof on my '30 Coupe (which is long overdue). However, I am also pretty close to replacing the headliner.

So, here is my question, does it matter which I do first? Is it better to do the headliner while the roof is off (so you can reach in to attach headliner components). Or, is it better to put the roof on while the headliner is off for access from the bottom?

I figure I can't have it both ways.

You can do it either way. The headliner is installed from underneath and the top vinal is installed from the top. Gar Williams
