Sorry to hear professor. Did she have family ? What was "her" story ? Was she a long life resident of Utah, bet she had lots of stories for the young folk!

I trust Miss Betsy's spiritual and loving connection with Old Henry will enhance his well-being and that of his caretaker. Return the favor by tucking a small sample of her life (i.e. a penny, scarf, glove) under her rear seat and she'll always be riding unseen in your rear view mirror. She was a gift.

She was actually born and raised in Detroit, Maine. She attended school in Pittsfield, Maine where her husband and brother are buried. She was flown to Boston today and will be buried in the Pittsfield cemetery next to her husband tomorrow - Tuesday.

We have a Ford Barner in Pittsfield but I can't remember who it is. Anyone know?

Hey Henry, sorry to hear about Miss Betsy passing . . . but you can be proud of the many memories you created together through your fun experiences. You've been a good friend to her - one can not ask for more.

Godspeed Betsy!

Good for you for enhancing her life !
I bet that one of her favorite things was, telling her friends about the trips that she took with you.
You did good !

That was a great and kind journey for the girls. May she rest in peace and I'm sure this will be one of your sweetest memories.

No doubt about it. It was truly a symbiotic relationship.
