Default Is this 1940 Ford Wiring harness?

Found this in a box of 1940 Ford leftovers. Is this original Ford wiring? I like the string wrapping in the second photo. Bob

The connectors on the ends do not look correct to me. Original Ford wiring looks more like this:

That looks like control / logic wiring out of a switchgear cabinet, something like Carter & Crawley or some other manufacturer might offer. You wouldn't believe the "rat-hole" drawings tracing that stuff between cabinets, or busses. DD

No. Not a 40 wiring harness.

Thanks! Guess I'll take my chances listing it on that auction site. Bob
