1935 Ford token
I was cleaning out at drawer today at an old ranch house . The old gentelman that had lived there is long gone. I found an old Ford token. The front of the token says San Diego 1935. It has the Ford V8 logo. The back looks like a poker chip and says Ford 1935. I'll post a pic as soon as one of my family members gets home. They have the computer savvy to post pic's. It looks pretty cool. Anyone know the value of such a token ? It's either steel or bronze.

Re: 1935 Ford token
back in the 30-40 there were many large industrial shows such as the 35 San Diego Pacific exposition. Ford often participated in a large way, by building halls. Their building at the 35 expo still exist and is open to the public as a flight museum. The token you have was a freebe at the show at the Ford exhibit. there are many different Ford souvenirs of the various shows such as trays, gear shift knobs, lighters that were sold at the various shows. Your token comes up for sale often on the auction sites for less than $10.00 in very good shape.

I've seen the '35s, and while I don't have any '33/34 tokens, I do collect Chicago World's Fair stuff.

Re: 1935 Ford token
Bought a '33 Ford token one time at a garage sale for 5 bucks. Gave it to a friend of mine that was just finishing up a '33 tudor sedan. Car is long gone...don't know whatever happened to the token.
