pins
As a new owner of a model a, I've gone over all the grease fittings and could not help but notice the dozen of cotter Pins.. wondering if anyone replaced these? All of them.. thinking my car mostly sat for 4-5 years and want to be on the safe side..

Re: pins
Cotter pins don't usually go bad with age. Only when you "try and use them more then once" do they go bad..... Nice car, dude!

Re: pins
As was mentioned they don't go bad but the vendors sell a kit with a list of what size goes where. You can also get a generic kit from harbor freight.

Re: pins
You can purchase stainless steel cotter pins from Sacramento Ford, all sized for model A...a little harder to bend than steel but never rusts....

Re: pins
CarlG,
That is one nifty box of cotter pins! You ought to market it, I'd buy one if the price was right. Bob-A |
