book recommendations please
Is there a book out there with good pictures of all the different body styles?
I'm looking for something like an id/spotters guide so I know what I'm looking at as I wander around the show grounds. Thanks, Kenny |

Re: book recommendations please
There is a book called "Model A Buyer's Guide", which might be close to what you are looking for. I don't recall the author.

Re: book recommendations please
Many times the Bratton catalog has the different models shown. Look at page 160-62

Re: book recommendations please
The album mentioned above is pretty good. Terribly inaccurate author comments on the photos, (like calling cars by color, but pictures are in black and white?). I have one I am selling. I'll pm you.

Thank you all for your responses.
The link to Mac's is great. I'm buying the album. Sorry it took so long to get back with you, my cable was out after the big storm. Kenny |

"The Ford Model A as Henry Built It" by DeAngelis, Francis and Henry, lots of B&W factory photos. "Original Ford Model A, the Restorer's Guide" by Shield, lots of color photo's.

The Model A Album was in my mailbox when I got home from work tonight.
Thank you Greg. This is just the kind of book I was thinking of. |
