Smile blown flathead

Took our dragster to the strip on fri and sat for the meeting,we did 12 passes all up,this is the first time we have run since bringing it back form New Zealand,
It ran a PB of 9.46 at 139mph.all this with two cyls with 11% leakdown, won the final, unbeknown to me the driver of the other car lost it at the 1/8 mile and crossed into my lane and missed my wheelie bar by inches.
When we got the car back to the pits, the convertor seal had blown and there was a pool of tranny fluid underneath, the tranny has earned its keep as it has done 4yrs.
All in all ,a great two days .

Great job Lawrie. I have a pic of your dragster in my shop and every time you break your own record I write it down under the pic. Walt
