Re: Model a
I like the Les Andrews Vol 1 red book.
The tiny tips book is also pretty good. https://mafca.com/cart/index.php?productID=166 https://www.amazon.com/Model-Ford-me.../dp/0965824004 |

These are available from both MAFCA and MARC and also from any of the major vendors...Brattons, Snyders, Berts, Mikes, etc. Easily the best information you can buy. |

Re: Model a
To me the best Model "A" manuals are all 3 Les Andrews books and the Judging Standards. With this you can answer most questions in a Model "A"

Re: Model a
I have wondered about the book written by Vic Zannis "Rebuilding the Model A Powerplant". I understand it only covers the engine but is it as good as advertised?

Re: Model a
Mine is the book of MANUAL LABOUR.
I have most of the restoration books. But as I've travelled through-out the USA going to different swap meets I enjoy picking up back issues of the RESTORER. I enjoy the personalized "stories" about the different authors. Jeff

Re: Model a
I bought " The First Fifty Years" of Restorer on a stick a couple months back and use it all the time.
