knob for light switch 40 ford
how do i remove the knob for light switch to put a mew one on len 40 ford

Pull the light switch knob out as far as it goes. Then reach under the dash to the light switch. There is a spring loaded button that sticks up, which if i remember correctly is on the top side. Push it down and get hold of the knob and pull it out. You may want to disconnect your battery first or your headlights will remain on until you uplug the light switch from the harness. Marv

Here's a picture of the bottom of the switch showing the hole you poke something in. I think I used a paper clip. Like Marv said, pull the switch out then stick the paper clip in and pull the knob out at the same time you're applying pressure on the clip. Dennis/Arkansas
