Default ID this Carb/Air Cleaner Mount

Trying to determine what this air cleaner mount is for. Carb is likely 49-51 Merc but I have not seen an air cleaner adapter like this. Maybe Truck?.. Lincoln? .. or ?... I found this in a 51 Ford car I bought for parts. rest of the motor was gone. Its going on my Swap Meet table so wandering just what year/make its for....
Stanley. .........

Going by the throttle linkage hookup either 50 or very early 51 Merc or possibly Lincoln of the same yrs. The carb is definatly a Merc or Lincoln not sure if the air cleaner is correct one though it would be similer. ken ct.

IT's a very neatly made hybrid, combining the best elements of two of America's favorites, seen in the enclosed pictures.

The Holley 885 was not exclusive to Ford or Mercury
It was used on other brand vehicles ( primarily trucks)
This is an example of one on a military truck.(not Ford or Mercury)

I have to say "truck"-just don't know which. The Lincolns and Mercuries had 90* adapters to offset the oil bath hangin over the cylinder head (to the Left on Lincoln and to the Right on the Mercury.
