1931 Pick up truck production numbers
I was bringing my truck home today from the body shop, when a guy stopped me at an intersection, asking all about my truck, he asked something no one ever asked me about it - "How many of these did they make in 1931?" - and I didn't have an answer - Anybody got any idea how many Closed Cab Pickups were built in 1931?
Thanks |

The book "The Model A Ford as Henry built it " has production numbers for most body styles including pickups .Is yours a steel top indented firewall pickup? Mine is an early 31 with vinyl roof

The 31 Pickups were made "every way but loose":
Soft top vs Hard top Indented Firewall vs Flat Firewall Wide Bed vs Narrow Bed And every possible combination of those 6 attributes Mine is a Hard top, Indented Firewall & Narrow Bed |

Re: 1931 Pick up truck production numbers
wow that seems to be a kind of small number to account for foreign and domestic as well as for both A and AA vehicles i had thought i saw somewhere that the number of AA was only in the 30,000 range but could not find that info tonight to share . thanks for coming through on the numbers makes me appreciate that i have a somewhat limited make truck
