Default Is this worth installing?

Going through my stuff in my garage, I found this vintage set of Thexton timing pointers for my engine. It's in the original box with all the instructions. Should I put these in so I can the timing on my engine or is it a waste of time?

That is a neat trick, somebody ought to repop it. Most of us just loosen the timing screw and reset where the engine runs best and does not kick back on the starter or ping under load.

Yeah. Neat idea to repop. Check out patents first, however.

To me the most interesting and worthwhile part of the kit is the make or break electric indicator light used to determine TDC.
If you don't have that tool how do you intend to find TDC?

Yeah, that's part of a different kit. Not sure about that part.

I think you could fashion a capillary tube from an old spark plug., maybe use a snifter valve in it to hold the liquid, otherwise I guess you'd have to pull a head, or find it during assy.
