Pic request of 40-47 Ford cab area
Looking for a nice closeup of this area to see what it should look like on 40-47 cabs. (other than my rusty mess)

I have no pictures, but that looks pretty good compared to the rot I had on my 45 I restored back in the early 80's

This one was probably in about the same condition. This pickup was put together in Texas some time around 2000. Both sides are similar and it all is solid. 0 evidence of rust anywhere else.

Hopefully, this link will take you to my total restoration project. Maybe it will answer some questions.

Hi, thanks for the pics, I went though the entire build pic thread but i still need a closer look, if you put your camera on "macro" and get a pic 6" away from that corner.

Hi, ive done many 38-48 cabs & you have a cherry there . its As it left the plant i am sure[exept for the surface patina].
Just give it a sturdy wire buff & your in business. |
