Re: Roll out garage flooring
i have the roll out coin flooring in my 3 car garage. it does slip some in the forward direction when driving a car in the bay from stopping. to eliminate that issue i put a metal floor divider strip at the entrance of each stall using masonary fasteners. i did want to glue the whole thing down in case i wanted to remove it and clean it outside...
i am very happy with it |

Re: Roll out garage flooring
I realized a few months ago that there are other forums linked at the bottom of FordBarn. One is "The Garage Journal". I found a lot of good info on shop lights and tools there. There is a whole forum just on garage floors too. May be worth a look.

Re: Roll out garage flooring
looks like neat stuff, looks similar to the fatigue mats we have at work. these are constantly getting machine coolant and oil dripped on them daily, they do get pretty nasty over time but do hold up well. they can be slicker than ice when a bit of oil gets on them - might want to keep that in mind and arent the easiest to clean up. several paper towels and a good degreasing cleaner spray does the trick it seems.
i wonder if they would leave tire divots over time if you dont move the model a for awhile...

Re: Roll out garage flooring
I use the ribbed in the everyday garage to help keep the junk that comes in on the car contained and easy to push back outside.

Re: Roll out garage flooring
I have had the pebble finish G flooring in my garage 3 years now. Fuel is the only thing that seems to affect it. Oil and glycol no problems. Have to put a piece of wood under jack stands or they will leave marks. Mine is not glued down so it shrinks about an inch in the Mich. winter.
