Default Texas Tour!

Anyone on the Barn going to attend the Texas Tour starting in Glen Rose next week? My wife and I are going and bringing our 31 slant window cabriolet! Can't wait, this is our first tour.

Yes I will be there as I am the Chairman. Looking forward to everyone attending! Hope this rain stops so the river will go down and we don't have to change our grand tour route. Some of the roads are currently flooded.

I hope to be there in my '30 coupe. But I've just developed a knock. If I can't resolve it, I'll have to drive my modern car.

I've made a couple of the Texas Tours (kind of a long run from California) and sure enjoyed them. Sorry but we are headed to Loveland next week you all have a great time!

Yes I'm going, but driving out from Nevada. Just got the new engine installed (thanks again Joe Sivils) and sorting through the rest of the car getting it ready. There will be two cars from Elko heading out towards Texas.

Would like to agree on a sign, symbol or sticker that we could use to pick each other out of the crowd. We had little stickers made for Oregon; they were handed out with the identification packet when we checked in. It was really great to see the barners in the flesh. Great people and they were from all over.

Time is getting short, so if anyone has an idea that would work, I would sure be interested in hearing it.

The only idea that I have is to draw out a small round emblem that we all could pull down and print on our printer, we could cut it out and use a piece of clear tape to attach it to the identification we will be wearing. Someone have something else?

I was using this tour as motivation to try and finish my sedan but sadly I won't be making it. Maybe next year.

Are you sure you're not talking about the national? I just checked my list and I don't have anyone registered from Nevada for the Texas Tour. Let me know in a PM if you're planning on registering when you get here.

If you decide to register, please just PM me and hold off on registering until you arrive. That way you can just pay at the desk and there's no question of if you money is in the mail. We will be arriving earlier than everyone else to set up it will just eliminate that issue of it possibly being in the mailbox at home.
