Angry 1940 ford deluxe light switch

I was wondering how to remove the knob/shaft from the light switch for a 1940 ford deluxe. I see a flat spot on the shaft for the replacement knob with shaft, but cannot feel or see any set screw behind the dash on the housing to loosen.. I have loosened the hex nut holding the unit in the dash, but cannot get enough movement to see anything. Help

The switch housing has a tiny hole in the side opposite the wire connections . Stick a small wire like a paper clip in the hole and push on it while pulling the knob out.
