On Friday, we left the MARC gathering with our vintage camper and headed east for a ship ride on the SS Badger across Lake Michigan. Seventeen A's were driven on by the owners and parked with us for the four hour ferry to Ludington, MI. Great fun! Gar Williams

I was wondering if people took their A's on the ferry. I live in Manitowoc and it's great seeing the SS arrive and leave the shore all the time.

I took the ferry with my car twice during the 80's, and at that time rail cars were loaded below deck, where you now show your cars, so can I assume rail cars are no longer transported by ferry?
When I went from Manitowoc to Luddington it cost $20 for me and $10 for the car. What's today's price? Thanks |

We paid $317 for a one way ticket for two seniors, the Ranger p/u, and our 21' Bowlus vintage trailer. A "bucket list" trip for my wife. Gar Williams
