I am, just wish that the swap meet was on Saturday and Sunday. Hard to get time off work and wife does not think Hershey is a good reason to pull kids out of school

Base your vacation around it.

Going on Thursday this year. Friday was a little weak on the vendor side last year. Praying for dry weather!

Jacob, A group of us charter a bus and leave from Frackville which takes us right up to the Chocolate field. If you'd want to go with us P.M. me. After last year going on Friday the guys that are serious about the trip like me revolted. We said make it Wed. or Thursday or we aren't going. Previous years Friday was good but last year was a disaster.

Alice and I will be at the usual place RCB 49 & 50 across from the side entry gate
to the old stadium. JM35 (John Mason) and Very Tangled ( Jeff Horrocks) are nearby.
Jeffs dad Henry will always be nearby God rest his soul.

Pulled the kids out of school every year for one day to bring them to the largest car happening in the world, put that on there note when they returned to school!! 1 year my daughter got a unexcused absents,I called and they said that was not a good reason to miss school! So I said she was sick if that makes you feel better about missing school(I was also teaching my daughter to lie)Silence!! I then hung up!! Pete

The wife and I went for the first time in 2012. What a blast. I think she is more anxious to go back this year to get the last pieces for her 41 pu.

We will be looking for you and Alice there in your usual spot Charlie. I'll be there Thursday and Friday this year. Maybe Wednesday afternoon as well if I am not dead tired from a long flight into BWI.
Yes, we sure miss Henry. I am thinking he is watching over Jeff and that '36 Pheaton

Hearing from friends that the space stickers are starting to arrive. Sweetest place on earth. Got a new set of sneakers with memory foam inserts. Hope they help but the pain at the end of the week in my feet is overcome by the fun of it

Remember .....don't cut your toenails the day before you leave. One week prior at the minimum....ask me how I know....

Hi Everyone, Hershey was a family event for me going back to about six or seven years old. Good times with Dad/Henryat1140! For a while we had a pretty neat '05 Stanley that was a pretty nice show car. Then we didn't go for decades, until Dad decided he wanted another Model T about fifteen years ago. Then he got his senses and purchased a flathead!

I spent a whole week there last year, took the '36 and everything.

One of the funner things I did was drool over the auction cars, and sit in on the Thursday evening Auction. http://www.rmsothebys.com/hf15/hershey I saw Wayne Carini hanging near some cars with a TV producer.

Last year I also did the AACA Museum's opening of their Tucker gallery on Wednesday night. I can't tell if they have a special event this year.

I'm not so amped for 2015. I just finished trips to Brainerd and Auburn.

If I go I don't think I'll take the car, been there, done that, got the trophy. I'll have to get a substitute at work for any of the days because I didn't schedule them off.

Showing up on Friday the swap is pretty far petered-out. The car corral is still hopping, and I love walking through there. It's also a huge blast to just be walking down an aisle and run into an old-car buddy!

I really like getting there at dawn on Saturday to watch the vehicles enter the show fields; Then I get a spot about 2pm and watch them leave. Much better than seeing them sitting still!

Last year I was able to get a swap meet spot that I used for parking the Phaeton.

I'll keep thinking about it.
