Re: BB Truck Sides? Help ID
Nothing about them look ford to me. How long are they? Wouldn't ford parts have the flareside bent into the tops of them? Seems the tent and awning guys often ordered the long express beds custom made after ford dropped them. I can check the Wagner book for a match.

Re: BB Truck Sides? Help ID
Actually on pg 104 of FTS'05 there is a rear view of a '32 BB express with wood bed sides. Looks like the 'foot' at the base of the side support is very similar to what you have, but they have a flareboard at the top and even though it's a factory job each side is made from 3 wood planks, not steel as yours appear. Hmmmm.

Re: BB Truck Sides? Help ID
So the other side is wood planks? If so, they probably are BB sides.

Re: BB Truck Sides? Help ID
Hi all; Many yrs ago ,I parted out a '34 1/2 ton PU that had a factory stretched wb, and a custom wood express bed. The stretch part was 18" with torque-tube extension, and made by Siebert. The bed looked similar and appeared to be a factory production type assembly. Later Newc
