8BA and 59AB Intake Manifold
Will an intake manifold from a 59AB fit and work on a 8BA engine?

Re: 8BA and 59AB Intake Manifold
It bolts on, but you'll need to address the differences in the crankcase breather system .The 59A intake has a cavity over the breather tube in the valley to allow the crankcase gases to go down the front of the block and out the road draft tube. The 8BA doesn't have this cavity due to the difference in the way it's crankcase breaths. You can shorten the 59A tube to provide clearance over the tube, or install a PCV valve. Study the 8BA manifold at the breather and oil fill tube area and the differences are obvious.
