got lucky today
Bought my 28 CCPU a bit over 2 years ago.
Seller said he had engine going and drove it around his backyard a year earlier, but I have heard these fanciful stories many times before . I put the body on another chassis and left the bought CCPU chassis in shed without touching it . Sold a project yesterday that gave me room to move. 1/2 hour and the engine started first kick and purrs like a kitten. Pity I am not going to road test it, it sure sounds strong . Just another project to pile as many parts on as I have and sell . Downsizing big time now. |
