Default Dot 3

I finally got master cylinder installed and used the Russell speed bleeders. Not as tough as I thought. After doing all that I realized I was out of DOT 3 juice so went down and bought a can to top off the MC. It only took a small amount. Brakes are great now . So...looking at the fluid can and it says DOT 3 synthetic ! I called the auto store and they said it blends with the old DOT 3.

Is this true or do I have another problem ?

Thx.....Mike

They are correct, the only one that would not be compatible would be DOT 5, silicone fluid. Everything's fine Mike, no problems.

It's marketing BS, not like there is "natural" brake fluid.
