Airtex E8902
Recently picked up a 8902 from RockAuto, looks like an Airtex... Has a generic 8902 printed on the side of it. It is not flow thru, I can barely blow any air thru the pump in either direction. Maybe something change on the manufacturing side?
Anyone else run into this yet? From what i can tell this is not a Carter, it looks like the Airtex that others have posted in other posts. So now im back to looking for a 6 volt fuel pump to use for priming that allows free flow. Any recommendations? or where i can get my hands on e8902 that still has flow thru? |

Re: Airtex E8902
Well... answered my own question. Airtex was bought by someone else and the internals of the pump are different now. Sounds like at some point they want to switch back. He didnt sound like thats going to happen for awhile, if ever.

that pump. I think I picked this up off the "Barn" a few years ago, but I don't know who posted it. It's fairly self explanatory. Ken Use the search function here on the "Barn". There are a number of posts describing how to bypass the electric pump so the manual pump will function. Here's a link to one that should help. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...el+pump+bypass EDIT: picture didn't attach. I'll retry in a bit Last edited by KGS; 09-04-2020 at 08:17 AM.
