Can one of you guru's out there tell me how much camber there should
be on the front wheels? I have a 29 Roadster with an all new front end.
The engine is installed so most all of its weight is there.
I probably have an angle of 2 to 3 degrees from the vertical out at the top.

According to my 1929 Bear Manual of Wheel & Axle Alignment, on page 22 it calls for 7° of angle at the Spindle Bolt (Kingpin) hole. I think in that day it was called "Pitch", ...but to know for sure I would need to order their new Home Study Course or attend the BEAR SCHOOL in Rock Island, IL.

Don't think the spinle hole would be the same angle as the camber on the wheel. I have the spec. at my shop and I will look today. 2 to 3 dg sounds like it but not sure. Bill

Most old solid axle vehicles use .5 - 1.5 degrees positive[out at top]camber.. I don't have access to any of my books,but, if I remember correctly I think Ford wants .5-1.0 degrees.. I know caster should 5 degrees and toe 1/32"-1/16".. The early toe setting of 1/8" didn't work well with paved roads..

I ck the service bulletins it said for 21 in wheels it was 1.13 + in at the tire side wall. 19 in would be less. Not sure what the dig. would be. That is a lot of camber. I ck mine at the shop today . At the hub it had 1 dg. +. Have19 in wheel but would not make any dif at the hub. The only way to adj is to bend the axle like we do on twin I beam Ford PU.trucks. The roads we drive on now are a lot different . I don't think it is that critical . This is all my opinion, Take it for what it is worth what you paid for the advice. $ 0, LOL. Bill
