Hello. What was the first year Ford put a door lock cylinder on driver side door of a passenger car ?

This 1942 Ford Super Deluxe Tudor Sedan that now calls Australia home has Exterior Door Locks on both side.

This 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Sedan Coupe that now calls Australia home has Exterior Door Locks on both side.

Australian Assembled Right Hand Drive 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Sedans and Mercury Sedans never had an external Door Lock on the Drivers Side.
