Spoke to Trevs wife Val today. Trev is in hospital as he's broken his hip in a fall due to his brittle bones (a by product of his illness). I asked her to pass my regards on to him and said many of the Barners were thinking and asking of him. He has not been on the computer for a number of weeks now. I asked her if I could pass anything on to you all she said "Just tell them he is doing about as well as can be expected in the circumstances".

I spoke to some of his flathead buddies yesterday and they didn't know about the fall that broke his hip. He is getting tired from his treatment , so keeping a very low profile. At least he has Val and family close by to take care of him. So he has the support of the local flathead guys too if anything else needs doing. We can't fix him , but just be there for support.
He has even put his beautiful and loved mercury on the market.

This makes me sad. We probably all feel helpless-useless because we can't do things that will help Trev. I know I do. Sure do wish I had some answers. Just damn.

Prayer and faith are universal and know no boundaries Let's all keep Trev in our prayers.. If it is the Lord's will he will heal,, Please ask that he strengthen Trev and his family for the journey they are forced to travel, too.

Praying for a get better. Trev and I share a love of Mercurys. His 52 my 51 and he has the name of our youngest son. Anybody remember his tool definitions? They always crack me up.

Trev is getting back to where he was before the fall that broke his leg, so now has a titanium leg bone. Just needs a bit of top fuel gas to give him some more puff. He is looking forward to getting home to his darling Val and grand kids soon.

Thanks for the update Graeme, I was talking to Val a while ago as Trev had visitors and it is not looking good at all. We have come to that age group now were there are a lot of people we know are having problems.

Noticed the weekly jokes stopped coming a few weeks ago from trev ...Don't get on the forum much, but had a feeling things weren't right!....Unfortunately the feeling was correct..........
