Catalog looks good, beer looks better.I like a good IPA ,Founders (local brewery)makes one of the best, they also make a good red rye,and a excellent Dirty Bastard (scottish strong).

On pg. 65 I especially like the 1939 world's fair button, would love to have one of those. Would go nice with my pair of 39' New York Plates. Scott

Got the July Hemmings yesterday. Popped a home brewed smokey stout for the occasion.

39, I was at the 39 Worlds Fair. I got all the buttons and pins handed out but at the time I was only impressed by the Heinz pickle pin. I remember that but not the others. G.M.

Little did you know later in life you would be passing on more goodies to us youngsters in the forum of teaching and growing the early Ford/flathead hobby!! Thank's for sharing, that is special. Scott |

Had several beers in the last week. Just left Munich and just finished one in Garmisch, Germany. Attempting to run the brewers dry. I think that's what I'm trying to do. Later guys, got to go to the John. Gordon

Re: Bob Drake and Wachusett...ale that is!
Hey Scott,
I saw the coolest cane stool that came from the 39 NY Worlds Fair. It had 3 legs that folded out and the logo of the fair on the seat. Really cool, the lady that owned it wanted to give it to me, but I thought it was too valuable to give away and advised her to ask her children before getting rid of it. However, she did give me a 39 World's Fair spoon because she assured me she had several of them. I used to display it in my 39 Woodie with a bunch of other cool memorabilia from the 30's and 40's. My Drake catalog came all wrinkled up, somebody must have enjoyed it thoroughly before it came to me. I didn't even get a chance to spill coffee on it before it was ruined. Keep smiling. Toby |

I bet George would have been more impressed with the girlie shows than the pickle buttons had he been just a couple years older at the time. I know i shure as hell would have been!
